About us

Welcome to RutkusArt
Arūnas Rutkus has been painting for four decades — since graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Arts in 1985, where he studied fresco, mosaic, and stained glass alongside painting. His work has since been shown in more than 50 exhibitions across 17 countries, from the Grand Palais and the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris to the Sharjah Art Museum in the UAE, and is held today in collections that include a fifty-piece body of work owned by NBA legend Arvydas Sabonis and a painting owned by musician Sting. RutkusArt exists to bring that same body of work — as museum-quality giclée prints and a small number of original paintings — directly into your home. The Art of Excellence
Every print starts on premium cotton matte canvas, produced with archival-grade technology built to hold color and detail for over a century. Nothing is automated to the point of losing the original's texture — each print is checked against the source painting before it's approved to leave the studio.
A Personal Touch by the Artist
This is what separates a RutkusArt print from an ordinary reproduction: Arūnas finishes each one himself. He goes over select areas by hand, adding brushstrokes that bring back the depth and vibrancy a print alone can't fully capture. Once finished, each piece is varnished, signed, and authenticated — making it, in every meaningful sense, one of a kind.
More Than a Purchase
Since 2017, Arūnas has donated his work annually to the Amber Lounge Monaco and Caudwell Children UK charity auctions. In 2025, his painting Luminescence sold at the Butterfly Ball Monaco in support of Caudwell Children. Ten percent of every purchase made here continues that commitment, going directly to Mamų Unijos Fondas, supporting children with cancer and their families.
Join the Legacy
Owning a piece from RutkusArt means owning more than a painting — it's a connection to a body of work shown from Paris to Sharjah, finished by the artist's own hand, and to the causes it continues to support.
